EPP offers full engineering and construction support for piping analysis and field services for your company’s scheduled or emergency outages. With our 24-hour call out service, an EPP engineer can be deployed very quickly to meet your emergency needs. We have a number of mobile vans and small containers for easy transportation to your site, these vans or containers are fully stocked with all the latest welding and installation equipment to support a field service team.

We offer supervision for the installation of new expansions joints or piping equipment by EPC contractors. All our Field Service Technicians / Welding Staff are trained to the highest level and have several years of experience.

Our field service teams normally carry this repair work out on expansion joints for fluid catalytic cracking units (FCCU) in petrochemical plants, power plants, nuclear plants and process plants. These expansion joints are normally exposed to high temperatures and aggressive media, so it is essential to ensure that the bellows and attached hardware perform properly in service, as failure can be extremely hazardous and expensive.

In case of unexpected failure, a clam shell bellow is the most common method of repair, this can keep the plant running until its next schedule turn-around, saving the plant operator money and loss of production.
